IV. False teachers deceive, manipulate and betray.

After reviewing some of the most peculiar features that characterize the false teachers in this article we will show what is the behavior of these messengers of darkness and what should be the responsibility of members of local churches.First members often ignore the sins of their leaders in their churches and with that attitude incur the path of error. The Bible strongly warns not to tolerate the practice of sin in God's people and the requirement for leadership is much greater, it is totally wrong and dangerous view and see how leaders live in sin and ignore those sins.One extreme example serves here. The false prophet David Koresh and Jim Jones, the two caused the deaths of his followers, slept with most women, girls and even children of his followers. These sex scandals should have been sufficient reason to dismiss these ministers and their groups, and wise people, leave even shaking the dust from their shoes from those places. To our knowledge, there were people who left before the killing of its members.A New Testament example is the Church in Thessalonica, which had problems with false prophets while rejecting all the prophets and their preaching. At that time it was probable that the prophecy was rather the common denominator of preaching, so the apostle Paul reminds them that:1 Thessalonians 5:20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Prove all things, hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.But besides that we see clearly that Paul tried to make them see, what is the duty and responsibility of every believer, that is, every Christian is to examine the lessons that are (1 Corinthians 14:29; 1 John 4:1 -3; 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21).There are no shortcuts in this, nor is it something only a matter of the leaders. This responsibility is not made for members of the local church by the pastor or leaders. Quite the opposite is the leaders and the pastor or preacher to that church members should be examined thoroughly in that doctrine which they preach is the behavior of these leaders, and exercise its leadership role within the body of the Lord, in the local churches.But what happens today is that usually the members are more interested in having lots of praise and while they are given that, do not care what is preached, the issue is to feel good and believe it is spiritually motivated.But remember that the standard by which we must examine every preacher is the word of God. If you do not agree with what the Bible teaches, is a false prophet, a false teacher. This requires each believer to examine and understand the Scriptures, Christ more clearly express the light of noon:John 5:39 You search the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life, and they are they which testify of me.2 Thessalonians 2:2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by spirit or by word, nor by letter as from us, in the sense that the Lord's day is near. 3 No one deceive you by any means: for that will not come unless the apostasy comes first and they show the man of sin, the son of perdition, 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or by letter.1 Corinthians 14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and the other judge.With any doctrine or teaching that imparts a minister today, can not be cross, contradict, or out of what they teach the Old and New Testaments. This being under the authority of the Word of God is something that identifies a real minister, but it is, then no doubt it is a false minister. Clearly God requires the Christian to judge what you hear to see if it is biblical or not what is taught. If you do not see a real strong disposition and a man claiming to be God's servant to do the will of God above his personal agenda, the Christian can recognize quickly to what kind of teacher is:Jude 1:16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; speak arrogantly, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But ye, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 which they told you in the last time there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.One of the clear marks of false prophets and teachers is that they do not adhere to sound doctrine, shape, and model presented in the Bible. They are inventing "better things and methods" that are nothing but inventions of his own will (ie, corrupt their minds). The true minister is limited to what the Bible clearly states. He can not walk outside the framework of obedience on any occasion or at any time. To observe this feature in the thinking of the minister is what is used to indicate where your heart before God, so that we can know whether or not we can engage with it.Usually the false teachers promote the worship of other gods and doctrines of demons, that is why we should follow the example of the believers of the church in Thessalonica:Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily whether those things were so.One of the fundamental doctrines that the Bible requires us to believe and observe is the authority, inerrancy and inspiration of the Bible itself. For the good minister of God, his ministry is governed by and developed under the direction and absolute authority of Scripture. He sees himself as a herald (a preacher) who is simply repeating the message of the King. Understand this truth in his ministry, restrained him in what he says, teaches and believes, and especially where he gets his message. He basa good minister throughout his ministry and message on the sure foundation of the Word of God. For him, the strongest argument is "so says the Word of God." He seeks and pursues "busily" practicing the Word of God and not their arguments, this does not mean you do not have personal views or personal views, but never claims that this is the revelation of the Holy Spirit. For this simple reason we know that preachers and ministers are not experts in the exposition of Scripture. The correct and clear exposition of the Scriptures is the way established by God to properly feed the sheep. This is how the real minister knows what to do and what not to do. Without this quality he is lost in this world of confusion, so it is not strange to see how thousands of ministers have stopped dragging after the current fashion, such as the anointing of nations,spiritual warfare, the 40 days, the prosperity gospel, etc..In this vital quality can understand that a good minister exposes the word of God, that is the same Bible used to interpret the Bible and themselves. For this work you must use biblical principles of interpretation, and direction of the Holy Spirit of God.Due to the lack of this quality in the false ministers see as the tendency of false teachers and prophets is to wander in the imagination of their own carnal minds. It happens like poison for rats, 1% poison, 99% corn and be good enough for the rat to ingest this poison dies. False teachers have their own arguments but formulated based on mathematical logic, and assume that they are good ministers of God and have better judgment than others, use the word of God as they see fit (and ignore it where it suits them), but after all, after one exposes His teaching, one is warned by the Spirit of God that we are facing an emissary of Satan.A good way to expose his teaching is to ask them about their actions, their tangled doctrines, examples of his life, and remind the passages that clearly show that what they teach is the product of doctrines of demons and corrupt their minds, you'll find that their answers are not what you expected, it will bring that irritate their credentials, they will say they have a direct line to God and even dare to say that as Paul was caught up to the third heaven. But on the other hand this does not happen with a true minister of God:1 Samuel 3:19 And Samuel grew, and Jehovah was with him, and did not drop to ground any of his words.There is a principle of interpretation of Scripture that says, "If the plain sense makes good business sense, seek no other sense." False prophets David Koresh and Jim Jones regularly slept with the women of their sects, ignoring what it says Scripture:Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor.If the Ten Commandments, clearly says "Do not commit adultery ... You shall not covet thy neighbor's wife," then any thought or action to try to twist or pervert the obvious meaning of these verses, should be discarded immediately because there is no doubt that NO is the will of God. We need to look all the time a rule of harmony between the will of God and the Scriptures, these will lead us to understand that in this case for example, having illicit sex; contradicts God and then marks up a life of continuous falsehood and sin before God. If this is happening with the leader and yet is being promoted by the leader (the false prophet), is sufficient reason tell us that this man is dangerous and is not of God but a messenger from his father the devil.An example of today, the Bible states:Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or the one and despise the other. You can not serve God and mammon.1 Timothy 6:6-8 is great gain in godliness with contentment, 7 for we brought nothing into this world, and certainly nothing we can get. 8 And having food and raiment let us be content with this.But today we see the proliferation of "ministers" who teach the contrary, for which they have mounted a "prosperity gospel" and teach that God wants to make everyone rich, openly and brazenly ask for money to their followers and promise that if sown or covenant with God, God will return a hundredfold, what they are doing with it, is to appeal to human greed and vanity. As we can see these are demonic doctrines, because they contradict openly and without any qualms about what the Bible teaches it and expected to live the children of God.But back a bit more to what we mentioned at the beginning of this publication. Every believer must deeply scrutinize the Scriptures for himself, to understand and apply Scripture to his life inside and outside the church. As in all churches of the saints, 34 your women keep silence in the churches: for they are not allowed to speak, but to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if you want to learn something, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is shameful for women to speak in church.The arguments of the past and present for a woman to teach in public services of worship are many, are well developed and assembled by the carnal mind of man, and above all very logical and go hand in hand with the fashion of this world .But the Bible teaches no offense to any sister in Christ or no lady, that a woman is not directly subject to curse, if it became obvious that was found under the general condemnation because of sin, the judgment given by God Himself hasmaintained as a constraint on the church's ministry (Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in transgression). Flee from such a false teacher of that church is corrupt, or that group in error.Like a stone crown, finally in this article need to emphasize that the doctrine is too important and should not be or can be neglected, the Bible says again and again which is the vital characteristic of a true minister:Titus 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who contradict.Titus 2:1 You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you will save yourself and your hearers.1 Timothy 1:10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,There are many who reject or despise the doctrine. But God commands us to care for and teach sound doctrine. What has happened in the world today (a postmodern world - disenchanted) is that people marry the conflict. Many hold the view that the conflict is not good, that doctrine divides the churches and religious groups in the world. Some think that simply take away their power doctrine and the priority that should be in the lives of the children of God, we will all unite in harmony. But they do not know is that God will take away from the church His Holy Spirit, and the Antichrist and the beast will build a one world religion where the doctrine is not important. But the true children of God we should not we be part of it:2 Thessalonians 2:8 For the mystery of iniquity already work: only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceit of unrighteousness in them that perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, so that all may be condemned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.2 Peter 3:16 in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, which are some things hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable wrest, as also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.Paul and Peter say it here very serious warnings. In the case of Peter who walked beside Jesus and was taught by the Lord, he showed pride in different parts of your story. After Peter was related to false teachers, being influenced which led him to be misconduct (hypocrite) and his teaching was affected. Then Paul had to confront him on this matter and Paul said he was very bad, but Peter repented. But then there's a Peter admits that Paul's teachings were difficult to understand but true. The apostle Peter learned to identify people "unlearned and unstable," ie without solid biblical doctrines, and especially not faithful to God, which twist Scripture to cause their own destruction (ie they were never saved).
